Joe Colaruotolo joined Mark VII/Exel/TTS/SunteckTTS in 1998 as a commissioned sales person focusing on the chemical and plastics industry. His sales and marketing efforts resulted in significant sales increases from new contracts with Celanese, Occidental Chemical and Shell Chemical.
In 2002, Joe became the CEO of The Redden Group leading the company to significant growth taking the company from $22MM in revenue to $94MM in 2008. He successfully managed the company through the 2009/20010 economic downturn while continuing to grow, with 2013 revenue exceeding $100 MM.
In 2009 he co-founded Redden Transport and Redden Leasing with his partners and together they have grown the company from $4MM of revenue in 2009 to a projected $25MM in 2018.
Prior to joining Mark VII/Exel/TTS/SunteckTTS Joe spent 25 years with Occidental Chemical, beginning in R&D and subsequently moving to marketing and business management. He held positions with increasing responsibility in specialty chemicals and plastics businesses for which he had full P&L responsibility. In his last position before leaving Occidental and joining Mark VII he was the Director of Logistics with an annual spend of over $300MM, in truck, rail and barge traffic.
Joe continues to focus on the financial conditions of both The Redden Group and Redden Transport. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife of 45 years Gail-Ann, and spending time with their children and 5 grandchildren.
